Nature of work: Doping control (testing of prohibited substances in animal sports)
   
Research Interests: Detection, identification, and quantification of drugs and metabolites in animal and human samples; equine pharmacology and forensic toxicology.
   
MS Instrumentation:
  1. 1 unit of linear ion trap - orbitrap LC/MSn/HRMS (Thermo LTQ Orbitrap Velos)
  2. 9 units of quadrupole - orbitrap LC/MS/HRMS (4 x Thermo Q Exactive & 4 x Thermo Q Exactive Plus & 1 x Thermo Exactive HF)
  3. 8 units of triple quadrupole LC/MS/MS (1 x Thermo TSQ Quantum Classic; 2 x Thermo TSQ Quantum Ultra; 1 x Thermo TSQ Vantage; 3 x Thermo TSQ Quantiva; 1 x Waters Quattro Premier XE)
  4. 1 unit of quadrupole - linear ion trap LC/MSn (Applied Biosystems 4000 QTRAP)
  5. 18 units of quadrupole GC/MS (Agilent 597X series GC/MSD)
  6. 3 units of triple quadrupole GC/MS/MS (1 x Agilent 7000 & 2 x Thermo TSQ 8000)
  7. 1 unit of ion-trap GC/MSn (Thermo Polaris Q)
  8. 1 unit of ICP/MS (Agilent 7900)
