- Measurement of steroid & peptide hormones for endocrine
investigations
- Therapeutic drug monitoring by measuring free drug concentrations
- Study of vitamins in health and disease conditions
- Development of methods to understand relationships between
drugs and their metabolites
- Study effects of melamine and its analogues in human

| Routine service: |
- Measurement of carnitine and acylcarnitines for the detection
of inborn errors of metabolism.
- Quantitation of immunosuppressants for transplant patients
(Cyclosporin A, Tacrolimus, Sirolimus and Everolimus).
- Quantitation of steroids (serum 17-hydroxyprogesterone, testosterone,
androstenedione and urine cortisol & cortisone)
- Therapeutic drug monitoring service (caffeine and imatinib)
- Comprehensive drug screening by UPLC TOF MS

- 3 units of LC tandem MS (2 x Waters Quattro Micro, Applied
Biosystems API 2000)
- 1 unit of UPLC TOF MS (Waters UPLC-LCT Premier XE)
- 1 unit of ion-trap GC/MSn (Thermo Finnigan GCQ)
- 1 unit of quadrupole GC/MS (Thermo Finnigan Trace MS Plus)
